Clyde Peffer

Clyde Ray Peffer; Born December 24, 1947, went to his heavenly home October 27, 2022 at the age of 74. A resident of Irvington, AL. He is survived by his wife of 55 years. Lucy Peffer. One sister, Joyce Wilderbrandt (Ronnie) and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nola Louis Peffer, parents, Russell and Laura (Cootsie) Peffer, one sister Margaret Ann Singleton and one brother Allen Peffer. Clyde was a member of Coden United Methodist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Williams, Ralph Williams, David Schambeau, Garry Brown and Rusty Peffer. Active pallbearers will be Justin Stokes, Calvin Seward, Johnny Peffer, Matthew Collier, Bruce Radcliff and Wee Wee Ladnier. Funeral services will be held at Coden United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Family visitation will be from 9 to 10, friends 10 to 12. Church services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery. After graveside service the family would like to invite everyone back to the church for fellowship. We would like to thank everyone for your kind words, calls, texts and donations. In lieu of flowers any donation are appreciated.
