Cody Jordan

Cody Vernon Jordan, age 36, of Mobile, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Cody was born and raised in Longview, Texas and was a 2002 graduate of Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette, Alabama. He was baptized January 1, 2017, and he loved his Lord and Savior. He worked as a boilermaker/welder for TEIC Construction Company across the United States. He never met a stranger and had friends all over the country. He loved fishing and loved to dance and was always the life of the party. His greatest joy in life was his family. He will be sorely missed by all those who where lucky enough to know him.

Cody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Halbert and Wanda Ainsworth; paternal grandparents, TV and Emma Jordan; paternal grandfather, Eddie Elliott; and step-father, Steve Reese.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Blan Jordan; children, Isabella Inez Hawkins, Cayden Vernon Jordan, Brooklyn Allen Cody Jordan, Jaxson Zade Randy Jordan, and Carter Vernon Alfred Evans; father, Randy Jordan and wife, Kim; mother, Carol Reese; sisters, Kishla McLemore and husband, Charles, and Tara Jordan; brother, Andrew Bitetti; grandparents, Phyllis and Bobby Griffin; father-in-law, Jerry Blan and wife, Glenna; mother-in-law, Melissa Crow and husband, Allan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 24, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A recording of the service is available below. Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma.
