Cora "Jeanie" Bigger

Cora Jeanette Bigger, also known as Zee, Momma Zee, and Jeanie, age 64, was born on January 29th, 1960, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and passed on December 13th, 2024 in Mobile, Alabama. Jeanie/Zee graduated from Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida. She later moved to Mobile, Alabama, where she worked as a customer service representative for Masland Carpet in Saraland for 38 years. She enjoyed participating in various activities such as Joe Jefferson Playhouse, SCA, Zuri Dance Troupe, and Boss Pirate Crew and History Crew.

Jeanie is preceded in death by; her father, John M. Bigger; and her grandparents.

She is survived by; her mother, Cora Belle Lutz Bigger, of Mobile, Alabama; her sister, Janet Ann Bigger (Steve) Visser, of Raleigh, North Carolina; her youngest sister, Jill Renae Bigger, of Mobile, Alabama; aunt, Launa Mae Lutz Ismail, of Wheeling, Illinois; and other out of state aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on January 25th, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Covenant Church of Mobile, behind Covenant Church in the Youth Building, "The Edge", a neon sign is above the double doors at the top of the stairs. All friends and family members are welcome to attend. A private interment for Cora Jeanette Bigger will be held in early January at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
