Curtis Orbon Huckabee, a native of Calera, AL and longtime resident of Mobile County died Friday. He was retired from AT&T. Mr. Huckabee was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Melton. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ila Huckabee; two daughters, Patsy Pope and Cheryl Elkins; one son, Ronald Melton; two grandchildren, Ryan Pope and Colton Bradford and other relatives. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.
