Curtis Spencer

March 12, 1961 — September 21, 2016

Curtis LeMoyne Spencer, a native of Mobile, Alabama, was born on March 12, 1961 and exchanged life for divine eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 21, 2016.
Curtis confessed Christ early in life and joined First Baptist Missionary Church under the leadership of Pastor Melvin Clark. As a late teen Curtis joined the U.S. Army and began to travel. His travels landed him in places such as Las Vegas, Nevada and Los Angeles, California; however, he always made his way back home to Mobile, Alabama. Curtis is affectionately remembered for being the life of the party, always making you laugh, and doing things in his own way.
He was preceded in death by: Julia Mae Hamilton Spencer, mother; Buster, father; Pauline Elizabeth Spencer, sister; Charles Allen Spencer, brother; Levi Spencer, uncle; Martha Hamilton, aunt; Charles Allen Spencer, Sr., uncle; Lucille Allen, aunt and lifelong friend Alzina Antalan.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted son and daughter: Lemoyne and Jacinda Antalan; granddaughter, Lauryn Antalan; devoted niece: Danielle Pledger of Mobile, AL.; loving sisters and brother: Pat Kellough of Las Vegas, NV, James Allen Spencer of Los Angeles, CA, and Shirley King of Mobile, AL. Godsister: Zelda Collins. Loving nieces and nephews: Julia Spencer, James Spencer Jr., James Packer, Adrian Packer, and Darius Spencer; devoted and lifelong Friends: Paul Watts, Herman Watts, and John Gregg and the Williamson High School Class of 1979.
