Dale Kirkland

Dale Broadhead Kirkland, a native of Waynesboro, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 80. Dale was a member of First Baptist Tillman’s Corner; loved to knit, quilt, crochet and play jigsaw puzzles on the computer. She had a big heart and was always available to help anyone in need. She retired as a secretary at Degussa after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Gibson Eaves and Coy Frederick Kirkland; her daughter, Judy Collins; her parents, Carl Odell Broadhead and Angie Napp Broadhead; two brothers, Darrel Broadhead and Carl L. Broadhead; and a great-granddaughter, Madison Lynn Little. Her survivors include two daughters, Becky Lentz and Sandra Herring; two brothers, Jimmy (Pam) Broadhead and Dwayne (Joy) Broadhead; her sister-in-law, Janie Broadhead; 5 grandchildren, Chris (Stephanie) Little, Josh (Katie) Little, Brandon (Trinna) Herring, Amy Lynn (Graham) Betancourt and Christina (Frank) Widder; 11 great-grandchildren, Mollie Kate, Coy, Medina, Declan, Ellie, Heather, Haley, Jacob, Alex, Kristin and Dustin; other relatives and many friends. Dale was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Mark Griffin, will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
