Dale Martin

Dale Allen Martin, a native of Indianapolis, IN and resident of the Mobile, AL area for 40 years, died March 12, 2015. He served four years in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He traveled extensively with the 1st Mobile Communications Group and GEEIA. He retired after 32 years service with Bellsouth/AT&T. He then worked for Mobile Infirmary Hospital as a team leader in the Communications Department. He enjoyed his retirement with hobbies as a car enthusiast, greyhound racing and cruising.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Dale Martin and Susan Mills Martin.
His survivors include his wife of 47 years, June Martin; his son, Tyler Martin; his brothers, David (Becky) Martin of Greenfield, IN, Donald (Wynne) Martin and Danny Martin, both of Mobile, AL; his sisters, Charlotte Martin and Connie Martin, both of Mobile, AL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
