Dale Wesley Thigpen, age 52, passed away Monday, June 15, in his home. He was born in Mobile, August 15, 1962. He graduated from Theodore High School in 1980. Dale worked for Cray H-R-I Food Service, Inc., for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Lisenby Thigpen. He is survived by his father, Warren Guy (Anita) Thigpen, Jr. of Mobile, and two brothers, Warren Guy Thigpen, III, of Cantonment, FL and Jamy Lamar (Cynthia) Thigpen of Mobile; nieces and nephews, Christy Thigpen Stimmell of Cantonment, FL, Warren Guy Thigpen, IV, of Daphne, AL, Brian Scott Thigpen of Winter Springs, FL, Nikki Thigpen Patterson (Ty), Jamy L. Thigpen, II, both of Semmes, AL, Cory and Connor Thigpen, of Mobile, and Michael Manning of Nashville, TN. He had 12 great nieces and nephews.
Dale was an avid college football fan and a passionate Roll-Tide Alabama fan. Visitation will be Friday, June 19th at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Entombment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
