Daniel McLain, 

Daniel Flynn McLain III (Danny / Doody) passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He loved his three dogs, fishing, being on the water and reading anything written by Clive Cussler. He also had a laugh that could liven up any room. Danny is survived by his three children, Flynn (Julie), Rebekah (Brian) and Sarah (Allen); his sister, Sylvia Hicks (James); his brother, Shawn McLain; and his four nephews, grandnephew, grandniece and great grandniece. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Flynn McLain, Jr.; his mother, Josephine Martha Abad Spoo; and his wife, Alisa.

A memorial service will be held later this year at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort. The family will announce it on Danny's Facebook page when arrangements are finalized.
