Darrell Boykin Reed, a native and current resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at home at the age of 59. He was employed by GAF for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Earl Reed, Sr. and Mary Dee Conerly Daniels, and his sister, Wanda Diane Reed Coke. Survivors include his wife, Tammy McBride Reed; children, Dustin McBride, Elizabeth Reed Pierce, Darrell Walter Reed, Keegan Reed and Marilyn Reed; his brothers, Edward (Kim) Reed, Jr. and James (Katrina) Bryant; step-father, Robert Daniels; two granddaughters; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday evening, August 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
