Daryl Wayne (DW) Turner, a life long resident Mobile, Alabama passed away on March 13, 2020. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Daryl was born on March 12, 1957, in Mobile, Al. Daryl worked for Epic a printing press company based in Dallas. While working for Epic he got to travel the world, which he spoke very fondly of. During this time of his life, he met and married the love of his life Robin. He soon had his first child, Krystal Lea and moved back to Mobile where he worked his own construction company for many years. Not long after having his first daughter he had his second daughter Deanna (Dee-Dee). Daryl was always on the go, helping others whenever he could. He would do anything for anyone in need. He died doing what he loves to do, helping others. Daryl was our rock (superman) to his family. While in retirement, Daryl spent most of his days enjoying his boat (his dream), the water and most importantly his family. He loved to talk and spend time with his 3 grandchildren who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Annie Lorretta and Bruce O. Turner Sr. and sister Silva Ann (Sweet Pea).

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Robin Schnell Turner, daughters Krystal Lea Fields (Michael) and Deanna Louise Ward (Daniel). He had 3 grandchildren Dayla, Bryant, and Drew. Many friends and family including brother Bruce Turner (Gwen), sisters Carolyn Ashby (Chris), Mary Holley. Also, survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Daryl (Grandpa) loved his family dearly and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Visitation for Daryl will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 11:00 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow visitation at 12:00 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
