David Eugene Christian, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the age of 66. He was a retired Corporal of the Mobile Police Department. He enjoyed his Harley motorcycle and loved animals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Marion Christian and Ida Isabelle Thomas Christian; and two brothers, Earl Christian and Walter Christian. His survivors include his wife, Kathy Ann Mosley Christian; his children, Heather Marie (Kirk Christopher) Lacey, David Eugene (Katty) Christian, Jr., Amelia Ann (Kedric Rashad) Mass and Shaun Kelly Christian; his grandchildren, Christopher, Ahna and Nikki Lacey, Cory, Avery and Jaylen Mass and "Peanut"; step-grandchildren, Sarah (Brent) Loper, Matthew (Monica) Christian, Jacob (Lara) Christian, Ashley Christian and Gersan Dominguez; his siblings, April (David) Etheridge, Tommy (Beverly) Christian, Robert (Della) Christian and Author Christian; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 18, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Graveside honors will be rendered by the Mobile Police Department Honor Guard. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
