David Ennis

David Roy Ennis, 89, died June 5, 2017. He was born in Fredericksburg, VA. He served in the Air Force 1946-1949; Retired from Lowe's in 2007. Son of the late Robert C. and Dorothy Ennis. Predeceased by his sister Jean Smith, brother Gary Ennis. He is survived by his wife, Gwen D. Ennis of 35 years, and his brother Carl (Linda). His four children, Carla, David Jr, Brian (Gwen T) Ennis, and Joy (Craig Heatwoles), and three stepsons: David (Frances), Robert (Peggy) and Randy (Paula) Messer
Grandchildren: Blake and Brett Ennis, Meredith and Mitchell Heathwoles, 12 step-grandchildren: Ashley, Amy, Kim, Jim, Robert Jr, Christina, Debra, John, Daniel, Steven, Melissa, Lee Messer
Funeral services will be held Friday June 9, 2017 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home located at 6040 Three Notch RD Mobile, AL 36619. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM unit service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association, www.lbda.org/donate
