David Smith

David Lee Smith Sr., age 81, passed away on October 20, 2021 in Mobile AL.
He was born in Elwood Indiana on February 16, 1940 to Ralph and Bernice Smith. Mr. Smith served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for several years and would eventually work in A/C and heating for the State of Alabama. He was passionate about serving his country, fishing, golfing, Alabama football and most of all, he loved his family.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Lewis Smith.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Marilyn Roberts Smith; children, Donna (James Robert) Salley and David Lee (Blair) Smith, Jr; grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon) Tech, James Robert Salley, Elizabeth Vetere, Carson Ledbetter, Delaney Brooke Smith, Caroline Ruth Smith and Alexander David Smith; great-granddaughter, Reese Marie Tech; numerous siblings, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 26 from 12:00pm until the graveside service time at 2:00pm in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
