Deborah Grant

Deborah Anita Grant- October 3, 1953- February 5, 2021
Deborah Anita Grant was born and raised in Mobile, AL where she graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She had a special place in her heart for the elderly and enjoyed caring for them as a Recreation Therapist, Administrator, and sitter throughout the years.
"Debbie", as she was known by family and friends, enjoyed living near the beach and made Pensacola, FL her permanent home. She enjoyed being a member of her church community at the Mission Anglican Church in Pensacola. She enjoyed many island trips where she collected trinkets and seashells throughout her life. Debbie absolutely loved cats and had many throughout the years.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Walter T. Grant and Grace Q. Grant as well as a sister-in-law, Stella D. Grant. She is survived by her brother, Walter Gerald Grant, a nephew and four nieces- Walter Travis Grant (Carole), Kerry Cate (Chad), Katherine Grant, Deanna Grant, and Dominique King (Chris) along with great nieces and a great nephew.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, March 27th at 2:00 P.M.
