Deborah "Deb" Bailey Grantham, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the age of 68. Deb was a 1966 graduate of Murphy High School; a member of Sweet Adelines for over 25 years; a retired insurance agent for Solomon Insurance Company; enjoyed music, cooking, fishing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Verlin Bailey and Miriam Marguerite Spikes Bailey. Her survivors include her husband of 49 years, Thomas "Andy" Grantham; her sister, Portia Bailey (Jerry) Little; two nieces, Michelle Little and Sherrie (Tim) McKenzie; one nephew, James W. (Christy) Grantham, Jr.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James W. and Sally Grantham, Sr.; other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Deb's memory be made to USA Mitchell Cancer Institute, 1660 Spring Hill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36606.
