Debra Spry

Debra Reed Spry, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2017. Born June 28, 1955 in Fort Benning, GA., she is predeceased by her parents, David G. (Sr.) and Betty A. (Lepik) Reed of Mobile AL, and her sister and life-long best friend, Delores (Reed) Partain, of Pooler, GA.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Billy L. Spry, three devoted children, Christina Spragg, Denice L. Potter and Dennis "Bubba" L. Potter, Jr., Six adoring grandchildren, Joseph John "J.J." Schjott, Abigail Christina Schjott, William "Bo" Bostick, Jr. ,Jordan Kendrick , Layton Riley Bostick, Logan Michael Bostick and Jayda Haley, six loving siblings, David (Libby) G. Reed Jr., Daniel (Julie) Reed, Douglas (Missy) Reed, Donald Reed, Dale (Steve) Baxley and Deanna R. Hawkins, Brother-in-Law Neal (Dolly) Partain and many, many nieces and nephews.

"A limb has fallen from the Family Tree that says, Grieve not for me, Remember the BEST TIMES, the Laughter, the songs of the Good Life I lived while I was STRONG". Debra loved a sunny day spent at the beach or pool, nights filled with karaoke and laughter with her family and snuggling with her grandchildren watching GROOVY MOVIES and last but not least, she loved being the ONLY one who could make her famous cornbread dressing during the holidays. She's smiling on us now saying "I told you I'd take it with me"

A Celebration of Debra's Life will be held Wednesday, July 26th at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following. We invite family, friends and others whose lives Debra touched to join us to reminisce, grieve, laugh and support each other through this trying time.
