Deliska Moore

Deliska Moore was an exceptional student, graduating early from Leakesville High School. She furthered her education, attending nursing school in Hattiesburg, MS. She continued her nursing studies at Charity Hospital in New Orleans where she played basketball for the nursing student team.

Dee was a Registered Nurse in Mobile working with an Ophthalmology practice before moving to hospital care. During her career, she was a head nurse and later led hospital infection control and discharge planning.

Retirement kept her busy with volunteer roles at Bellingrath Gardens, Dauphin Island Sea Lab and fun times at Dauphin Island.

Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
