Derek Karl Hase, 39, of Irvington, Alabama died September 25, 2020, in Mobile, Alabama. Derek was born November 6, 1980, in Natchez, Mississippi, to David Hase and Deborah Smith Hase. Although Derek’s life was tragically cut short he was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.He is survived by his beloved daughter, Brilee; his mother, Debbie, and father, David; his brother, Justin Hase and his wife Erin and their children; his sister, Amanda Hase, and her fiancé Matthew Johnson and their loving daughter; and his brother, Ramon Weaver-Hase and his family. As well as his maternal grandparents, Gloria Seyfarth Smith and Charles Smith, Jr.; and many other family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gordon and Ethel Hase; and his uncle Charles "Sonny" Smith, III. Derek was extremely kind and always had a smile on his face. He found peace and comfort in helping others and he loved working on and riding his motorcycle. He also loved spending quality time with family and friends.

Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Garden Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and will be followed by a service at 12:00 noon. Condolances may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
