Devinee was taken from us way too soon. She was full of life and preparing to attend college on a full ride scholarship majoring in criminology. She had just turned 18 and was going to walk the stage in 2 days to receive her diploma. Devinee will forever be loved by her family and all those who cared about her.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandmother Charlotte Faye Andrews Grimes and Paternal grandmother Joanne Loefler Mcnatt.
She is survived by Father Waynick Eugene Rooney Jr., mother Terri Lynn Grimes Rooney, 3 sisters Amber Rooney, Terra Howton (Terry Ikner), and Dezarae Rooney. 1 brother Waynick Shane Rooney. Maternal grandfather Franklin Webster Grimes Jr., Paternal grandfather W. Rooney. 4 nieces Airiel Roberts, Londynn Wallace, Lyddia Ikner, Lesley Ikner. Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousins. Dogs Tapps, Hector, Hazel. Rabbit Rosco.
We all have a hole in our soul without her. Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday June 2, 2020 from 5 until 8pm. The family request that due to the virus that a safe distance and masking are used. Funeral services will be later and are private at the family request.
