Diane Brining Gano, Age 60. A native and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016. She was a Licensed Custom House Broker for the District of Mobile. Diane was an owner and officer of the John M. Brining Company, Inc. established by her father , John M. Brining in 1945. As a International Business Graduate of the University of South Alabama she was a dedicated member of the local Alpha Omicron Pi Alumni Chapter. She is preceded in death by her father, John M. Brining, III, her brother John M. Brining, IV, and her sister Julie Annette Brining. She is survived by her mother Lillian Brining DeBenedetto, husband Herman D. Gano, Jr., sons James David Gano and Joshua Lee Gano; nieces and nephews; Zachary (Rebecca) Brining, Erin (Jimmy) Hammond, Baret Brining (Nick) Melton, Adam (Nubia) Brining, Kristin Brining; great nieces and nephews; Eva Brining, Camille Brining, Rosa Lee Brining, Elias Hammond, Nora Davis Hammond, Penelope Melton; sister in law June Brining. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2PM from the Chapel at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday 12PM until service time at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Julie A. Brining Memorial Scholarship fund c/o Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation at 5390 Virginia Way,Brentwood, TN 37027 or www.aoiifoundation.org , www.stjude.org or the Wings of Life.
