Donald Arnett

Donald Delano Arnett 1934 - 2017 A native and resident of Bayou La Batre, AL died on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 82. Mr. Arnett was an avid fan of all sports, but loved Alabama football and basketball. He was preceded in death by a son, Kirby Arnett; parents, Howard and Winnie Arnett; brothers, Gene and Ben Arnett; sister, Teresa Darby. He is survived by his wife, Shelby Jean Arnett; son, Gil (Julia) Arnett; sister, Nell Dismukes; grandchildren, April (Tommy) Ladnier and Michael (Katie) Arnett; great grandchildren, Gage and Peyton Ladnier. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM from First Baptist Church Bayou La Batre with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
