Donald Vester

Donald Leroy Vester, a native of Jackson, TN and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the age of 82. He served in the US Air Force and retired as a Master Sgt. after 22 years of service. His survivors include his wife of 25 years, Patricia Allen Vester; three children, Tamber Lynn (Don) Ford, Allen Christopher Vester and Donny Lee (Deana) Vester; four grandchildren, Amy (Jordan) Chinouth, Heath Vester, Hannah Burch, David Ford and Hope Vester; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Adaline Chinouth; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor David Cagle, will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from Crosspoint Church of Mobile. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 State Highway 225, Spanish Fort, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Vester's name to Crosspoint Church of Mobile, 4791 Schillinger Road South, Mobile, AL 36619.
