Dorothy Glover

Dorothy Louise Glover, a native of Riderwood, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the age of 87. She retired from Sears after many years of service; was a member of Chickasaw Methodist Church and a member of the Azalea City Ceramic Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Glover and Tura Scott Glover; her brother, Joe Houston Glover; her sister, Pauline Glover Parrack; and two nephews, Michael Parrack and Gary Ivey. Her survivors include her sister, Bobbie Ann Glover (Roderick) Wolfe; nieces, Karen Bailey and Marcia Zajac; nephews, Bill Glover, Robert (Frances) Ivey; Brian (DeAnna) Ivey and Rick Wolfe; other relatives and friends. She was "Aunt Dot" to many generations. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Miss Glover's name be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504, or your favorite charity. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Danny Chancey, will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
