Dorothy N. Herston, a longtime resident of Mobile, AL who had retired from the Mobile Infirmary with over 30 years of service. She is survived by, son, Victor (Jo) Herston, daughter, Teresa Adkison, and son, Stephen (Sandra) Herston; sister, Bessie (Jerry) Barkley; grandchildren, Kristen (Craig) Newell, Adam (Melissa) Herston and Chelsea Herston; great grandchildren, Ava Newell, Emma Newell, Tripp Newell, Brentley Smith, Jesse Herston and Nora Rose Herston and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 10 am. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
