Edna Clinton

Edna Lee James Clinton ,1927-2017, was a native of Laurel, MS and resident of Saraland, AL died on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard C. James Sr. and Mary H. James; brother Howard C. James Jr.; and sisters, Eva Senterfitt, Etta Willis, and Mary Lucille Broom; and former husband Jack R. Clinton Sr. She is survived by sons Jack "Roger" Clinton Jr. (Karen) of Saraland, AL and Robert K. Clinton of Mobile, AL, and former daughter-in-law Mary B. Clinton of Mobile, AL. Her Grandchildren, Meaghan L. Clinton (Joshua Robertson) and Matthew Clinton. As well as niece Henerietta Miller and her family, and other numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Clinton retired from K-Mart on Hwy 90 in 1992. She moved from Mobile to Wilmer in 2006 to care for her older sister Eva. In 2014, she moved to Saraland with her son Roger, and lived there until her death. She was a member of Camellia Missionary Baptist Church in Fairview, AL and loved her church family dearly. She was an avid Country Music fan and attended Mobile Country Music Association shows on Saturday nights. Special thanks to Dr. Jason West, Compassion Care Services (Sheila Orso), and St. Joseph Hospice. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM.
