Edna Earl Radford Rubley, born in Mobile, Alabama on September 10, 1926 passed from this life February 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Katie Radford; her husband, Emil Lee Rubley; two sisters, Florence Radford Myrick and Doris Radford Smith; and her stepson, Ted Lee Rubley. She is survived by one sister Frances Neighbors, her granddaughter, Melissa Rubley-Dixon; great-grandson Benjamin Parker Dixon; and nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Edna attended Murphy High School then, after marrying Lee, moved to Spanish Fort, AL. She later lived in Orange Park, Florida before returning to live in Mobile. She attended Springhill Baptist Church and retired from Alcoa. Edna mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but also loved crocheting and sewing along with fishing and gardening.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the cemetery at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the Three Notch Rd entrance and drive to the burial site together.
