Edna Mae Powell Walker, a native of Savannah, GA, longtime resident of Mobile, AL and current resident of Prattville, AL, died Friday, December 30, 2016 at the age of 96. Edna enjoyed traveling, cooking, crafts, gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Solomon Powell, Sr. and Josephine Miller Powell; her husband, Arthur Brumfield Walker; her brother, William Solomon Powell, Jr. and her sister, Elizabeth Powell Fetty. Her survivors include her daughter, Eleanor J. Hall; her son, Robert J. Walker; two grandchildren, Janet (Damian) Walley and Charles Woodling; four great-grandchildren, Megan (Ian) Brown, Kristen (Chris) Sifuentez, and Jennifer and Nelson Velazquez, Sr.; twelve great-great-grandchildren, Hailey, Paige, Sydney and Aiden Bass, Nelson Velazquez, Jr., Kinley and Karter Brown, Logan and Jackson Collier; Jarod, Isabel, and Mason Sifuentez; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Friday, January 6, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at 10:00 AM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
