Edward Strong Iii

Edward J. "Sarge" Strong III September 4,1944 - March 18, 2017 A native of Smyrna, TN and resident of Mobile, AL died on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 72. Mr. Strong enjoyed fishing and was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Strong; sister in law, Torie Strong Trentham; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
