Edwina Kemp Rogers, a native of Crandall, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 94. She was an active member of Riverside Baptist Church for many years, loved fishing, gardening, reading, cooking and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernice Ray Rogers; her sister, Dorothy Ivy; and three brothers, J.E., "Buck" and Earl Kemp. Her survivors include three sons, Roy (LaTrelle) Rogers, Franklin Rogers and Jerry (Mary Janet) Rogers; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
