Elizabeth Nichols

Elizabeth Lucille Fowler Nichols, age 88, born on February 5, 1929, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, March 20, 2017. She was a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama. Mrs. Nichols attended Barton Academy, was a graduate of Murphy High School and attended Chaffey College in California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Cleo A. "Chuck" Nichols, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Sherrye A. Nichols, Stephen D. (Sandy K.) Nichols, Sandy N. (Jimmy) Snow; siblings, Jean (Sig) Sullivan, Bobbie McMichael, Buck (Cookie) Fowler; sister- in- law, Freck Fowler; grandchildren, Brad (Kristi) Snow, Jessica (Tyler) Williams, Alexandra Nichols, Andrew Nichols; great grandchildren, Emma Grace Williams, James Tyler Williams, Jessa Anne Snow, Judson Bradley Snow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 10 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a special thanks to Kindred Hospice including Candace and Lydia, and Sitter Services including Australia, Trenna, Hazel, Amber and Erin.
