Ellen Pierce

Ellen Gollotte Pierce, age 90, passed away in Mobile, AL on March 21, 2022. Mrs. Pierce was a faithful member of the Oak Park Church of God, a talented homemaker, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all those blessed enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pierce Sr.; son, George Pierce Jr.; siblings, Sonny Gollotte, Warren "Bo" Gollotte and Bobbie Carley.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra (Jeff) Smith and Michael (Julie) Pierce; grandchildren, Shawn (Jo Anna) Smith and Jeffrey (Kristena) Pierce, Ryan Smith, Rodney (Heather) Pierce and Lance (Allison) Pierce; great-grandchildren, Hannah (Logan) Ellis, Anna Cate Smith, Ellen Marie Smith and Emerie Kathleen Pierce; great-great grandchild, Blakely Ellis; siblings, Mickey Mosley, Margaret Andrews, Maxine Pugh and Ann (William) Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the 12:00 pm funeral time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
