Elsie Willoween Roberts Britt, a native of Pineville, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the age of 93. She was a member of Kingwood United Methodist Church and a retired secretary for the US Government. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Roberts and Cordie Wilkins Roberts; her husband, Kenneth Neal Britt; her daughter, Susan Marie Britt; her son, Donald Ray Britt and all of her siblings. Her survivors include her son, Kerry N. Britt; two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. M. Kathryn Knight and Rev. Joseph H. Reams, will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Mrs. Britt's name be made to Kingwood United Methodist Church, 5200 Perin Road, Mobile, AL 36693.
