She was a member of West Mobile Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father Willie D. Byrd and mother Claudia Lee Bowden Byrd. Sister Ruby Woodruff; brothers Richard and Larry Byrd.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years as of Saturday November 12th which the celebrated with a party on Saturday night.
Daughter Joan (Bill) Scott, Son Tony (Shalon)Bryars.
Sister Jean Branton; Brothers Eubie Byrd, Jerry Byrd, Bob Byrd. Many grandchildren.
She will be so missed by everyone and especially their faithful dog "Joey"
The family has truly appreciated her caregiver Sharon Coor.
