Emma Jean Barbre Terlouw, a native of Marion, VA and longtime resident of Bayou La Batre, AL, entered glory on December 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Emmett Teun "Tony" Terlouw; her parents, John Barbre and Oma Lee Barbre Moser; three brothers, Roy Barbre, Robert Barbre and Jimmy Moser and one sister, Frances Hester. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, John (DT) Terlouw, Pamela (Jim) McNeil, Oma (Ronnie) Callaway, Charles (Deborah) Terlouw, Libby (Jerry) Neal, Sammy Terlouw and Deborah (Chuck) Callaway; brother, Ronald (Barbara) Barbre; sister-in-law, Lucy Terlouw; brothers-in-law, Charles (Gloria) Terlouw and Rodney Hester; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Scott Howard, will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:30 AM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre, AL.
