Ernestine Mays DuBose, a native of Hamilton, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joel Houston Mays and Catherine Elizabeth Owens Mays; her husband, Leonard L.
DuBose; her son, Kenneth Ray DuBose; her brother, Paul Mays and her sister, Maxine Mays Johnson. Her survivors include her daughter, Beverly DuBose (Wayne) Askew; her brother, Charles (Jackie) Mays; her grandchildren, Jennifer Elizabeth Askew (Clay) Dunbar and Justin Ray DuBose; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Mays Dunbar, Georgia Raines Dunbar and Vivian Grace Dunbar; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
