Essie Lee Day, a resident of Theodore, AL was born in Chestnut, LA to Lewis and Eula Stewart. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday April 3rd,2022 at the age of 93 surrounded by family. The Lord let her know it was time, so he called her home.
She loved life and all its beauty. Her family was her priority, she loved every minute they had together.
She was a beautiful person; a Christian lady that loved the Lord and instilled in her children the qualities she knew they would need in life.
She was a faithful member of the Bayou La Batre Church of God and attended when she was able. She will be missed greatly by her family and many, many friends.
A special thank you to Springhill Hospice, the nurses, and entire staff for all the care that was given to our mother. May the Lord richly bless each of you
