Esther Crabtree

Esther Marie Crabtree, Age 90, Born in Daphne, Alabama and she was longtime resident of Crichton Community. Mrs. Crabtree was born January 12, 1934 and passed away to eternal Heaven on October 1, 2024.

As a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama she was a longtime small business owner in Crichton.

Mrs. Crabtree was a devoted daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and a friend to many.

She was preceded death by her parents, H.H. Albritton, Sr. and Vera Capps Albritton, brother, H.H. Albritton, Jr., sister, Voncile Chandler, husband, Calvin A. Crabtree, Sr., sons, Richard Alfred Crabtree, Howard Wayne Crabtree and Christian Aaron Crabtree.

She is survived by her only daughter, Therese Crabtree Gilmore (Lonnie), sons, Michael D. Crabtree (Faye), Jimmie M. Crabtree, Calvin A. Crabtree, Jr. (Peggy), Jon I. L. Crabtree (Sherry) and her sister, Patsy Bumpus of Stateline, Mississippi.

She is also survived by 18 grandchildren: Lynn, Lisa, Tammy Leigh, LeNan, Ricki, Brian, Dana, Pam, Kristen, DeAnna, Theresa, Cameron, Cheri, Clint, Timothy, Christina, Chris and Laurel.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10am in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is from 9am until service time Monday at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
