Eubie Melvin Watson, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the age of 64. Melvin retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding after 39 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eubie Hubert Watson and Ida Mae Griffin Watson. His survivors include his wife of 20 years, Judy Carol Pilgrim Watson; four children, Gabriel Quin Watson, Brandy Marie Watson, Wayne Warren and Matthew (Amy) Warren; four sisters, Jeannie Ann Adcock, Ida Frances (Richard) Myles, Jackie Adcock and Linda Noller; nine grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mr. Watson's name be made to USA Mitchell Cancer Institute Supportive Care Clinic, 1660 Spring Hill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604.
