Eulene Steele Engle, a native of Oak Grove, FL and current resident of Walnut Hill, FL, died peacefully at home Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon George Engle, Sr.; her parents, Bernie David Steele and Lena Godwin Steele; her sisters, Ruby West, Eunice Schaefers and Bernice Owens; and her brother, Hilbert Steele. Her survivors include her daughters, Judith Engle (Tommy) Underwood and Donna Engle (Michael) Garlotte; her son, Ramon George (Tina) Engle, Jr.; her sisters, Ruth Goss and Mary (Gilbert) McGhee; four grandchildren, Dana Michele Garlotte, Michael Bradley (Jennifer) Garlotte, Sr., Thomas Heath Underwood and Holly Lynette Underwood; two great-grandchildren, Michael Bradley Garlotte, Jr. and Emma Kate Garlotte; other relatives and friends. Heath Underwood, Brad Garlotte, Gavin Grove, Kenneth Manning, Joseph Marcum and Robert Ellerman will serve as pallbearers. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Jeff Spiller, will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mrs. Engle's name be made to the American Cancer Society, 900 Western America Drive, Suite 101, Mobile, AL 36609.
