Eunice Landry

Eunice Winell Kinsey Landry, 89 of Mobile, Alabama passed away on October 27, 2021, peacefully at home from the result of dementia.

She was born in Holt, Florida to Ewell and Audrey Holt Kinsey on March 1, 1932. She attended Murphy High School in Mobile and graduated in 1949. She was also a member of her high school's 49's club until the last few years. She worked as a bookkeeper for several companies. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and high school friends. She had a love for cooking, gardening and flowers of any kind.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Ouellette of Mobile, Jerry Ouellette of Pensacola, Florida and daughter Sharon Ouellette Hill (Bryan) of Daphne, Alabama; grandchildren, Kelly Anderson (Tim) of Birmingham, Heather Wood, Cheyenne Ouellette and Chandler Ouellette of Montgomery; great-grandson Jackson Anderson of Birmingham; and those who were like her children, Eddie Joe Weathersby of Murphreesboro, Tennessee and Cyndy Hendricks of Pensacola. She also leaves to cherish her memory special high school friends Betty Jane Johnson and Betty James, both of Mobile and lifelong best friend Carole Hadley, and her family of Augusta, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her mother Audrey and step-father Wallace Maxwell.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Nakia Braxton, her devoted caregiver and the staff at Springhill Home Health and Hospice for the loving care and support given to Winell during the last month of her life.

A graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on October 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Billy Burtt officiating. A brief visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 10:30 AM.
