Eva Dukes

Eva Kennedy Dukes, passed away on January 15, 2022. She was born on February 20, 1940 to Bill and Carlene Kennedy in Brewton, AL. She resided in Chickasaw, AL all of her adult life. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Dukes, Lori Brooks and Anita Singletary all of Chickasaw, AL. Her brothers, Melvin Ray Kennedy of Wilmer AL and George Malion Kennedy (Linda) of St. Mary's, GA. Her grandchildren, James Amos Brooks, Amberley Brooks, Clayton Brooks and William Singletary. Her great-grandchildren, Kinleigh Hope Brooks and Macie Claire Brooks. Many may remember her from the E-Z Shop in Chickasaw, where she was a long time employee. At the time of her retirement she was employed at Merritt Oil Company. She was a member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church. She will greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 12 noon. Visitation will be 11am until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
