Evelyn Mae Kirk Davis, a native of Bay Minette, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents, Captain Walter Lester Kirk, Sr. and Sally Ethel Lee Meyer; her husband, Joseph Francis Davis and her brother, George Kirk. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda J. Baber and Deborah D. (Bruce) Seale; her sons, Michael J. Davis and Larry S. Davis; her brother, Walter Lester (Nell) Kirk, Jr.; her sister, Marjorie K. (Steve) Thames; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Richard Patterson, will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
