Evelyn Hyman

Evelyn Imogene "Jean" Owens Hyman, a native of Corinth, MS and resident of Mobile, AL, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the age of 92. Evelyn was a very devoted Christian lady and member of Kingswood United Methodist Church. Her compassion for many years was working with the youth in the church and babies in the nursery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Leroy Hyman; parents, Lester Schley Owens and Eva May McDaniel Owens; and her son, Ricky Hyman. Her survivors include her son, Don (Rita) Hyman; one grandson, Travis O. (Stacie) Hyman; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Monday, April 8, 2019, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Graveside services and interment will follow at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
