Evelyn Sims

Evelyn McDonald Sims, a long time resident of Grand Bay, Al. passed away on November 18, 2019.

Born on December 14, 1929. She was the daughter of, John McDonald and Daisy Clark McDonald of St. Elmo, Al.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Her husband, Douglas Randolph Sims and son, Donald Gary Sims. She is survived by her son, Douglas M. (Gloria) Sims of Grand Bay, Al. Sister, Anna Richardson, of Moss Point, Ms. Brother, John McDonald of Gautier, Ms. Grandchildren, Christy and Eric Sims and host of nephews and nieces, special nieces Marlynn Hatchett, Annette Sims and Madelyn Sims Leonard. Special friends Anna Presley, Karen McClinton and Roland Harper. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 10am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Meredith officiating. Visitation will start at 9am.Honorary Pallbearers; Jack Sims, Wayne Tillman and Roland Harper. Pallbearers; Ronnie Eckert, Glen Perkins, Buddy McGregor, George Warden, Fred Leonard and Ricky Finney. Burial to follow service at Grand Bay Cemetery, Grand Bay, Al.
