Faye Malone

It is with great sadness we announce that Faye Owens Malone went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17th 2018 at the age of 82. She passed peacefully with family at her side. Faye was born October 12th 1935 to Ann and John Owens. She was a lifelong resident of Mobile where she has been happily married to her husband Robert "Bob" Malone for 57 years. Faye graduated from Murphy High School. She went on to work for both the Mobile and Baldwin County school boards. She was most proud of her role as mother, grandmother, and sister. She was an active member at her church the First Church of the Nazarene. Faye is remembered by her selfless nature, fun loving personality, delicious cooking, and her love of the Lord & family. Faye is survived by her husband Bob; her son Steve [[]Shelley] Malone; her son Greg [[]Pam] Malone; grandchildren Taylor Malone, Hogan Malone, Chase Malone, & Christy Sledge; and two great grandbabies Kate Sledge and Harper Malone. She is preceded in death by her sister Pat Draime and her parents. Visitation is scheduled from 11-12 a.m. on Saturday morning January 20th, 2018 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile, with the funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
