Flossie Augustine Stringfellow Miller, a native of Harleston, MS, and longtime resident of Theodore, AL in the Belle Fontaine Community since 1947, died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the age of 95. She was formerly employed by Bellingrath Gardens; was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church; a member of the 50 Plus Club and the Burse Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sylvester Miller; her parents, Ernest Wesley Stringfellow and Lois Idonia Murphy Stringfellow; her son, Vester Floyd Miller; her brother, Floyd August Stringfellow; her sister, Frances Stringfellow Pierce and her grandson, Gregory Alan Salva. Her survivors include her son, George Richard Miller; two daughters, Ruby Leah (Donnie) Salva and Lois Evelyn (Alfred) Ramsey; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
