Mrs. Floy Hazel Davis Wade, born October 27, 1922 to Ruth Gordon Davis and Oscar Davis of Melvin, Alabama, became God’s newest angel Aug. 28,2020. Floy was married to Edward Allen Wade for 74 years. Floy was a member of Zion Baptist Church from 1952 until the present day, serving as a Sunday School teacher for most of those years, until joining her lifelong love, Eddie, in heaven. This amazing woman worked as a secretary, a teacher’s aide for MCPSS for 11 years, a real estate agent for 30 years until retiring in 2009, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include three children, Michael W. Wade, Sr. of Biloxi, MS, Terry R. Wade (Patricia) of Dallas, TX, Cindy W. Bostick of Mobile, seven grandchildren, Dana Sossebee (Matthew) of Red Oak, TX, Justin Wade (Angela) of Fate, TX, Brett Wade (Kristin) of Dallas, TX, Michael W. Wade, Jr. (DeeDee) of Mobile, AL, Natasha Pounders (Jerry) of Mobile, AL, C. Keith Bostick (Natalia) of Mobile, AL, Michelle B. Robinson (Daniel) of Anacortes, WA, sixteen great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Services will be held in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens on September 2, 2020 at 10 AM with visitation from 9:00 – 10 AM and internment following the service. Reverend Bruce Moseley will officiate. The family asks that you dress casually.
