Francis Lynwood Cayton, 82, passed away peacefully Monday, November1, in Mobile. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances of 43 years; mother, Olivette Cayton; sister Dorothy York, and brothers John B. Cayton, Jr, Donald J. Cayton and Thomas O. Cayton. He is survived by his son Francis .L Cayton, Jr. (Frankie); sister Shirley C. McDonald; granddaughter Briana Hollinghead; many nieces and nephews; and a very good friend, Helen T. Phillips.
Lynwood graduated from McGill-Toolen High School 1954. Retired as Sales Manager from Mobile Cigar and Tobacco Co, and also retired from Dees Paper Company of 36 years in 2017.
He was an avid bowler and inducted in the State Bowlers Hall of Fame and a Co-founder of a Mystic Mobile Mardi Gras Association and a member for many years.
He has left behind an army of friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be Monday November 6, 2017 from 4;00pm-6;00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on McKenna Drive with interment to follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
