Frank M. Jester, age 81, passed away in the comfort of his home on May 29, 2022. Frank retired as Master Senior Chief in the United States Coast Guard after 23 years of honorable service. He worked at QMS for many years and was a security guard at for Mobile Infirmary and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
He and his first wife were team truck drivers with military clearance and would later deliver goods throughout the country. When he settled locally, he became a small business owner and personal hero to countless college students in Mobile, delivering pizzas to late night parties and study sessions.
Frank was an adventurous, fun, and loving family man. Always armed with a beer on the front porch, he could pass an entire afternoon with unbelievable stories from his glory days. A real life 007, the women loved him, the law couldn't stop him, and there wasn't a situation he couldn't get out of. To his family, he was a real life super hero that knew no bounds.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Jester and brother, Bobby Jester.
On the morning of his death, his daughter Suzanne Hofelich unexpectedly passed. In the grief of their deaths, we can feel comfort in knowing that father and daughter surely walked hand in hand into God's embrace.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Sharron Barbour Jester; son, Michael (Mary) Jester; son-in-law, David Hofelich; grandchildren, Mark Leif Jester, Justin Scott Parker, Christopher Sean Jester and Candice Nicole Hofelich; great-grandchildren, Jason Jones, Samuel Parker, Abigail Parker, Daniel Parker, Aiden Jester, Sawyer Homes, and Holland Homes; other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, June 5, 2022 for Frank Jester and Suzanne Hofelich with visitation from 12:00pm until the funeral service at 2:00pm.
